TANDOORI STUFFED WHOLE WHEAT CHUR CHUR NAAN


Chur Chur naan is a street food of amritsar and delhi... Paranthe wali gali in old delhi is famous for its pranthas that are fully loaded with ghee and butter... I tried making a healthy version of the same by not frying it but making it in electric tandoor .... u can make it in gas tandoor or on tawa...

I have made two types of stuffing with channa dal and with gobhi...
Boil channa dal till 3-4 whistle... it should be 3/4 cooked.. Remove all the water and add chopped onion, green chilies , and fresh coriander.. add salt , ajwain , red chili  & garam masala.

Mix well 
kneed a dough with wheat flour and water.

Take a peda/ ball of atta .. ake a well and add stuffing.. close it from top and with a help of rolling pin make a round or oval naan and put it in tandoor for 5 min.. keep an eye on it it should not be burnt.. top it with desi ghee and serve hot... 
Make the other naan as written above..
Serve hot with jeera curd or pickle or pindi channa...
