CRISPY FRIED CHICKEN

Crispy outside and super soft and juicy inside....

Serve 4


Ingredients for  Marinate

Chicken  8-10 pieces
Buttermilk 2 cups
Garlic paste 1/2 tsp
Ginger paste 1/2 tsp
Salt 1 tsp
Black pepper powder 1 tsp
Mixed dried herbs  1 tsp.
(oregano, thyme, basil, italian seasoning)
Red chili powder 1 tsp

For Coating

All-purpose flour 1 1/4 cups
Cornflour 1/2 cup
Breadcrumbs 2-4 tbsp
Baking powder 1 tsp
Salt 1 tsp
Red chilli powder 1 tsp
Black pepper powder 1/2 tsp
Garlic powder 1/2 tsp

For Egg Coating

Egg 1**
Milk 2 tbsp
Hot chili sauce 2 tbsp
Oil for deep frying

Method

Mix all the ingredients of a marinate & rest overnight.





Remove the chicken pieces from the marinade and keep on a kitchen towel so that extra buttermilk will be soaked by towel.

DO NOT rinse them.
Make sure the chicken pieces come to room temperature before you begin frying.
Mix all the dry ingredients for the coating in a plate .




the egg in another bowl. 


First dip chicken in egg mixture and the with dry mixture.

Keep them in a plate .
Let them rest for 5 min.

Fry on medium heat for 8-10 min till golden brown.


Serve hot.... :)





Note
**I used only egg white. You can use whole egg.
**U can sprinkle chaat masala & lemon before serving.
